I served as the Lead Gameplay Scripter, with secondary roles as a Systems Designer and Level Designer, for the rhythm/platformer game SYNC. The game was developed in Unreal Engine 4 over the course of 10 weeks. I was responsible for developing and scripting the primary rhythm and movement mechanics, as well as many of the level assets and obstacles.
The player takes on the role of Sync, a cybernetic DJ on a mission to return music and dance to the City they once called home. The player must keep to the beat of the music and build up combos to power up Sync's navigational abilities and make their way through the once-lively City in order to hijack corporate broadcasts and bring music back to the people.
